During the Labour Day’s long weekend, I was back to Klang/KL. Waking up on Fri morning having the routine breakfast of Bah Kut Teh in Pandamaran, Dad took me to this famous temple residing in Tepi Sungei, Klang. It has been there for a while and seems that many tour busses as far as KL and other states come to this temple to pray for prosperity, health, luck, wealth and wishes and dreams that you may think to have.
So, I went to check it out this temple and we were the only visitor that morning. When we enter the bumpy granite road, I feel the peace and serenity of this temple. It has very nice ponds with lotsa koi fish and tortoises.
On every pillar of the temple, it was decorated with many tortoise and snakes figurines. I notice there are many snakes figurines around the temple. This makes me wonder if this temple is made famous by snakes/was a residence to the snakes that keeps the temple so famous.
Inside the temple, it has a nice manmade waterfall with koi fish and a very large hall for prayers. I bought some incense and make my offerings and prayers for families and close friend. Wishing for a happy and good year amid the economy downturn and Swine flu.
Spending about half an hour there, we make our way home.
