Start 'em Young...

I had bought a number of books to cultivate the reading habit in Zach. I realised that todays' books and educational toys for children are so expensive that they cost more than my Chicken chop. So, instead of buying books at retail price, I buy my books during the Expo Sales.

Here's Zach turning and flipping the colorful hard cover book. He will "aw" with excitement when he see something colorful. I tried to read to him everyday by flipping and pointing to the big colorful pictures and words. I don't set any level of expectation as I want him to enjoy reading and exploring books.
