my 1st Baby toy...

I decided to buy a handheld blender to make puree for Zach when he turns 6 mths. I can't wait to use the blender as I enjoy experimenting all kinds of food for Zach.

This is what I bought from Courts and it cost less than SGD50.

So far, I have tried puree:-

1) Sweet potatoe
2) Carrot
3) Pumpkin
4) Apple
5) Pear
6) Corns
7) Avocado
8) Brocolli
9) Chicken
10) Spinach

I will puree and keep them in cubes to freeze them. So, whenever I need to warm it up, I will just pop one out from the freezer and warm them in the warmer and voila! His meal will be ready in 5-10mins!

Here's Zach trying his first puree of pumpkin.

He loves it and keep asking for more

He wallop the whole bowl and asking for more! Guess is the sweetness that gives him the kick!
This is my first baby toy I bought and I love it to bits :) . I'm going to use it to make some ice blended drinks which I have yet to experiment it.

It's easy to use and I only need to wash 2 parts. The blender and the container. That's the beauty of it especially for lazy soul like me.

I find this is a good investment and very handy and portable.

Catch me if you can

Zach has been doing this for quite sometime and I find it rather amusing. He's trying to catch hold of his feet and I believe all babies love to bite on their feet/toes (based on old wife's tale, if your baby biting or eating his feet, meaning you will be pregnant soon. Dunno how true, I'll be the walking testimony...hee). So, I decided to film him one fine Sunday however it eventually I was caught "red handed" by him. So he stopped doing this for a while...

Time Flies

How time flies. Zach is coming to 7 months and he has grown so much that I have to start packing off his old clothes which he has outgrown them. I have 2 bags full of his clothes in my storeroom to make way for his 6-12 mths clothing. Todate, he has....

1) Started on solid
2) Teeth #2 is out
3) Crawling
4) Standing on his own holding with support
5) Sitting on his own without support
6) and getting very playful...

I'm blessed to have a happy and healthy son and it's a joy just to watch him eating his biscuits or seeing him play in his play pen.

Here are some pics to share. Zach loves his Leap frog as this toy has been accompanying him since birth. And I know the songs by my finger tips too ... =p~ 1 little birdie fly so high... 1....la la la la... hee :)

My First Taste of Food

This blog has been delayed since Zach tried his first food. By now, Zach has upgraded to porridge with fish, chicken, spinach, corns....

Here's what I gave him as one of his first food which is grounded unpolished rice in powder form which I mix it with formula milk.

His first mouth after taking the rice powder was he frown at me and staring at the spoon. And so, I decided to gave him his 2nd try and he took it well this time. Thereafter, he likes it and I have been feeding him since then....

Little shaolin

I decided to "start all over" again for Zach's hair as they have been growing like a wild grass which I find it rather messy. So, he has his 2nd shave again and this time I brought him to a professional (unlike the 1st time we did it ourself =p) who specialize in handling hair cut for baby.
So, here's Zach with his "clean shave look" :-)

Laughing Baby

Zach was in particularly good mood and I decided to take a video of him sitting on his new swing chair.
