Like Father Like Son!

The other day while resting at home I noticed something so similar between Zach and MH (besides Zach looking like his dad)! Both of them share the same hobby which is Zach loves watching the tv! He can drink his milk with his head tilting to an angle where he can catch a good glimpse or if he is bored / cranky, the only means can "tame" him down is TV! Anyway, I'm not going to encourage him at this young age and this is not healthy for him. So, young man you have to drink your milk without tv. The only entertainment you have is to listen to mama singing, gazing mama's beautiful face :p or whatever mama can keep you entertain at this moment :D :p

Here's a pic of Daddy and Zach...

Zach's favourite activity

Bathing him is a fun activity and I guess he enjoys this moment too (except a few occasions when he drank some water :p). And I can't wait to bring him to the pool!

Looking Back...

Time flies. A year has gone by and we are starting a brand new year again. I did my last count down at home playing mah jong and watching CNA on a live telecast showing fireworks in Marina Bay.

Flashing back to 2007, I did pretty well :) and I'm happy and thank god my family, relatives and my dearest friends are in well shape and I hope this will continue for the years to come.

2007 is a year which will brings back many fond memories to me and MH as we welcome our baby Zachary. He was born on 3rd Dec 07, a day after my sis birthday and in future they can celebrate their birthday together! YaY! I had gone through a pretty well 9 months pregnancy and I'm glad and blessed to have a smooth journey and also delivering to a healthy baby! And also thanks to everyone giving me 1st class treatment! Pregnant woman has the best privileges! I miss being pregnant again :p

Did 2 short trips of travelling to Bangkok and Hong Kong. It was a short break but it was a quality time spend during this trip.

All in all, the year ends with a sweet note and I'm looking forward to make 2008 a better year to come.

Zachary's Full Moon

I'm back to blog again :) ! I miss blogging so much! And really really hope I can resume to blog again as and when I wish.

Feeling the burst of energy when the days of confinement is over and I am back to eating "normally" (normally means I can eat anything I want) and restriction to some "guidelines" that needs to be adhere and follow strictly. But tell you frankly, I did try my best to follow all the "guidelines" but sad to say I'd bent the rules. Yea, sometimes rules are meant to be bent.

Anyway, this is not the main topic for today. It's Zachary's full moon and I'm glad everything goes well and we're so beat at the end of the day. I guess without my confinement lady, both hubby and I die flat.

First thing in the morning, CL prepare 2 big pails of herbal water for me to bath and 7 colors of flowers to wash and "cleanse". Sis was delighted to have the bath too and bought herself some flowers too...roses, orchids...hehehe...list goes on. However, never see I strike 4D. Here's the event of Zach's full moon...

8:30am : Woke up and had a good shower...scrub and scrub...actually not that dirty la coz I did bath once as I couldn't take it any longer. Guess, first time in history that I didn't take my bath for 2 weeks!

9:30am : Prepare Zach's milk and bottle for a short trip to my in laws' place for prayers

11:30am : Reach my in law's place

12:10pm : Zach is hungry. While bringing out his feed, suddenly I realise I forgot the Teats!!! How could I! As usual me, making eveyone kan cheong spider :)) ! Sis, sis in law and Dad hurriedly went to buy teats in Mustapha. Mummy trying to pacify crying Zach. So mummy decides to breastfeed Zach. He has no choice.... "no fish, prawn also can liao". He suckle suckle for a good 10mins on both breast and decides to stop mooing the cow. Somehow, this survives him for a good ride home!

1:20pm : Reach home and caterer arrives to set up the buffet counter

1:30pm : 1st guest arrives .....

6:15pm : Last guest leaves and cleaning starts.... Thanks to Aunty to wash, mop and sweep.

In short, all went well except for the missing teats...What a clown! Suddenly feel like handicaped at that point in time!
